2023-12-14 - I have become aware of a bug with the mirrors but have been unable to replicate it. Please let me know if you manage to split the beam.

I was able to reproduce the beam splitting by pushing the mirror in this column all the way up to the top.
yes the bug still exists. it seems to be as simple as the beam both reflecting and ignoring the mirror
thanks to aspeon for replicating this issue, and to account to comment for following up. I'll have a look in the next week or two and see if I can patch it without too much effort.
